La historia est\u00e1 ambientada a finales de los a\u00f1os sesenta en Los \u00c1ngeles. Doc Sportello es un detective privado que hace mucho tiempo que no ve a su ex novia Shasta, hasta que un d\u00eda \u00e9sta contrata sus servicios para resolver la desaparici\u00f3n de su nuevo amante. Sportello se ver\u00e1 entonces enredado en una serie de situaciones donde dejar\u00e1 atr\u00e1s los escr\u00fapulos y donde la resoluci\u00f3n del misterio no ser\u00e1 finalmente el objetivo principal.<\/p>\n
